Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and technically proficient IT Assistant with 3 years of experience to join our team in Raipur. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our digital infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently while assisting staff with day-to-day technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Perform regular updates and maintenance on all company computers, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues reported by employees.
- Software Management: Install, configure, and update essential business software, Operating Systems, and Antivirus programs.
- Network Support: Assist in managing local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi configurations, and basic firewall settings to ensure secure and stable internet access.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate record of IT assets, including hardware specifications, software licenses, and maintenance logs.
- User Support: Provide prompt technical assistance to staff members via phone, email, or in-person.
- Data Security: Assist in implementing data backup procedures and ensuring that security protocols are strictly followed to protect company information.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Any Graduate (Candidates with a background in Computer Science or IT-related certifications will have an added advantage).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic repair techniques.
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and cabling).
- Experience with remote desktop support tools and basic server management.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff clearly.
